A new chapter
for The Whale.
Presented at Hôtel West End in Nice in 2026, The Whale was acquired by the hotel in October of the same year.
This unique steel sculpture belongs to The Metal Scrolls collection. It is no longer available for acquisition.

The first work made in this language of scrolls, The Whale captures the animal's last visible moment before it dives into the depths. That movement echoes Rémi Plault's own: with this sculpture, he too chose to plunge fully into a new artistic language. The whale disappears into the deep while the artist discovers his own.
